Mobile auto glass in Charleston.

Downtown, West Ashley, and the islands

On the peninsula, a parking garage or a private driveway is the reliable option. Narrow streets below Broad rarely give a technician safe room to work the full width of a windshield. West Ashley, James Island, and Johns Island are straightforward driveway jobs.

Hotel and apartment garages are usually fine as long as there is clearance and the vehicle can stay put through the cure time.

Break-ins and door glass

Side and door glass is a bigger share of our Charleston work than it is elsewhere in the tri-county, mostly from vehicle break-ins in visitor-heavy parking areas. Tempered glass shatters into thousands of fragments that settle into the door cavity, the seat rails, and the carpet, so the cleanup is part of the job, not an extra.

Cure time in coastal humidity

Urethane cure depends on temperature and humidity, both of which run high here for much of the year. Your technician gives you the specific safe drive-away time on-site before leaving, based on the adhesive used and that day's conditions.
