Side glass
Door and side window replacement.
Door windows, vent glass and quarter glass replaced where the vehicle already sits — with the glass fragments cleaned out, not left in the door.
Side glass is tempered, not laminated. It does not crack and wait for you — it drops into thousands of small blunt pieces the moment it is struck. Most of those pieces fall straight down inside the door, which is why a proper replacement is a panel-off job rather than a quick swap.

What the job includes
- Front and rear door windows, vent glass, and fixed quarter glass.
- Door trim panel removed so the cavity, regulator track and drain path can be cleared of fragments.
- The new glass set into the regulator and aligned so it seats squarely in the run channel — no wind whistle, no binding.
- Seats, carpet and door pockets vacuumed before we pack up.
- Window operation and, where fitted, auto-up and pinch protection re-checked.
Why the cleanup matters
Fragments left in a door migrate. They work into the regulator track and make the window grind or jam, they slide out of the bottom of the door onto the sill for months, and they turn up in the back seat long after you thought the break-in was behind you. Clearing the cavity is the part that separates a replacement from a patch.

Paying for it
Break-in glass damage falls under comprehensive coverage. We bill carriers directly, and we will quote cash alongside it so you can compare against your deductible — the claims walkthrough covers how that decision usually goes.
