Why Your VIN Matters for an Accurate Auto Glass Quote

The VIN turns a broad vehicle description into the exact configuration needed to identify glass and related equipment.

Same model, different glass

Manufacturers often offer several windshields for the same model year. One may have a camera bracket, another a rain-sensor mount, another acoustic glass, and another a heating feature. Door and rear glass can also vary by body style, tint, antenna, defroster, slider, or wiper equipment.

Where to find it

The 17-character VIN is visible through the lower driver's side of the windshield and appears on the registration or insurance card. A clear photo prevents transposed characters.

What the VIN cannot replace

A VIN lookup is powerful, but some equipment can change within a production run or through prior glass work. We may also ask for photos of the glass markings, mirror area, rear window, or damaged door. Those checks reduce the risk of arriving with a part that cannot be installed.

Upload or enter the VIN with your request so we can start with the right part. Start an accurate quote.
